Welp, .. more photoshop futzing from me.
This was a freestyle that I tried to see through to "finish" after working up the hovering lil' "CradleKeeper" tending to that bio-organic cocoon.
I'm just having trouble w/ feeling like a piece is done. . .
Mostly because of the limited time I get on 'em for now.
SOo,. just trying a couple new things as far as establishing depth.

My thoughts are that this is a scene from deep within some sanctum that is protected many levels above from where the scene is taking place. Pre-programmed CradleKeeper's tend to dormant alien offspring. Waking them early would harm the imprinting being done in the cocoon and loose a warrior that is not bound to his Hive. So be quiet, don't wake one -- or the Thresher will be coming for YOU! ;) heh...

WOw what a description bro.You take me to excactly what your saying......This is a great piece bud love the 2d and how it's blended in,and the alien and the ttentacles on it remdind me of a game i've played,real adventourous peice bro. and great job.:)

Excellent piece my friend ....................I like the concept and see the thresher on watch .........great colours .....The only thing I would change is the title font .............sorta doesn't do the piece justice ;)
